Los orígenes de la banda se remontan aproximadamente a Enero del 2005. Como
todo grupo musical, Theory dio sus primeros pasos tocando covers de otros grupos como Staind, Dispatch, Red Hot Chilli Peppers,
The Calling, entre otros. Sin embargo la idea de formar un grupo se consolidó cuando Nicolás Ianiszewski, mientras tocaba
en el piano “Sonata Moonlight” de Beethoven, propuso la idea de inventar una canción. A partir de ese momento
nació el primer single de la agrupación, “Moonlight”. Lamentablemente después de eso la banda retomó los covers,
pero luego aburridos de no tener algo propio decidieron volver a lo que habían conseguido antes e ir más allá para ver qué
pasaba. De la resurrección de Theory surgió el segundo single, “Biscrock”, a vísperas de la
primera tocata. De esa manera comenzó a tomar forma
lo que es hoy día Theory, un trío de amigos compuestos por Cristóbal Parraguez (voz), Nicolás Ianiszewski (voz y guitarra)
y Vicente Gatica (batería).

The origins of the band overcome approximately to January 2005.
As every musical group, Theory had their first steps playing covers of other groups like Staind, Dispatch, Red Hot Chilli
Peppers, The Calling, among others. Nevertheless, the idea of starting this group came out when Nicolás Ianiszewski, while
playing Beethoven’s “Sonata Moonlight” on the piano, proposed this idea of creating a song. Since that moment
their first single of the band was born, “Moonlight”. Lamentably, after that, the band retook the covers, but
then bored of not having something from their own, they decided to return to what they obtained before and even further on
to see what happens. From the resurrection of Theory emerged the second single, “Biscrok” on the eve of their
first gig. That way began to take shape what is nowadays Theory, a trio of friends composed of Cristóbal Parraguez (vocals),
Nicolás Ianiszewski (vocals and guitar) and Vicente Gatica (drums).
